WHY LA PAZ?

If you’re staying in Cabo and want to experience something completely different, make the trip to La Paz.

La Paz has a slower, more relaxed feel than Cabo, and the experience is really about the incredible Sea of Cortez that surrounds it. This is where you can spend the morning swimming with whale sharks, head out to Espíritu Santo, snorkel with sea lions, spend the afternoon on a beautiful beach, and finish the day walking the Malecón with dinner overlooking the water.

What makes La Paz so special is the access to the water and the incredible wildlife that calls this part of Baja home. The scenery is beautiful, the water can be unbelievably clear, and there are so many experiences here that you simply can't have in Cabo.

I always tell my guests that if you have a few extra days—or even just one full day—La Paz is worth seeing. It gives you a completely different side of Baja and is one of those places that tends to become a favorite part of the trip.
